Community Service
We believe secular values should be visible through action. Columbia Atheists participates in ongoing community service projects, including the Flat Branch Street Cleanup and volunteer opportunities with the Food Bank.
These projects give our members a way to care for our community, build relationships, and demonstrate that compassion does not require religious belief.

Coffee with the Community
Through Coffee with the Community, Columbia Atheists invites local nonprofits, organizers, and community leaders to share more about their work.

Advocacy and Civic Engagement
Columbia Atheists supports advocacy that protects church and state separation, religious freedom, civil rights, and inclusive public policy.
Our members take action by writing postcards, submitting letters to the editor, tracking local and state issues, and speaking up when secular voices need to be part of the conversation.

Secular Community
We create space for atheists, agnostics, humanists, skeptics, freethinkers, and people questioning or leaving religion to connect without pressure or judgment.
Our events give people a place to build friendships, share ideas, ask questions, and be part of a community where religious belief is not required.
