Your voice needs to be heard. Your participation in town halls and rallies are very important. But your voice in the newspaper and in a letter to your legislator carries more weight.

On Sunday, September 28, at 10:00 AM at Fretboard Coffee in Columbia, David Rosman will be conducting a workshop on writing letters to the editor and your legislators.

You’ll be asked to write your opening sentence and we will discuss how it can be made more powerful.

David is an award winning columnist with the Columbia Missourian. He got his start with letters to the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. He holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Northern Colorado.

Fretboard Coffee is on Artist Alley, across the alley from the bus station.
